Notice regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) – updated as of June 18, 2020:
The Thrift Spot has re-opened Saturday, June 13th. It is exciting to be back and everything is going smoothly. However, there are a few procedures still in place to help protect you from Covid-19. When visiting us on Saturday, we recommend that shoppers wear a mask. We will have masks available for those that need one. Our volunteers and paid staff will be wearing masks for your safety. Now that we have entered Phase III there is no need for us to give out numbers. We have learned that we average less than 50 people at the Thrift Spot as a general rule. We welcome you to shop with us each Saturday 8AM to 4PM. (We will be closed the first Saturday in August and the last Saturday in December.)
Our Small Home Repair and GO Car Repair programs have now resumed. Please leave a message at 757-741-5070, if you are in need of these services.
The Thrift Spot is staffed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9AM to 5PM. Donations are accepted at any time by placing them under the covered carport. We strongly urge you NOT to donate on Thursdays. This is a very busy day for our staff as they make preparations for our Saturday openings. Please check our website for a short list of items we are not able to accept. We look forward to seeing you for shopping each Saturday at the Thrift Spot 8AM to 4PM.
